Hello, I’m Miranda!
As we continue to experience rapid growth across this valley, our leaders must meet the urgency of this moment. We need our elected officials to work together and act decisively in the public’s best interest.
I’m proud of my record making streets better for everyone. During my time serving on ACHD and Eagle City Council, I’ve advocated successfully for improved bike and pedestrian infrastructure, multi-modal transportation, safe routes to school, increased public transit access, and agency collaboration to maximize public dollars.
Real people in our community are standing with Miranda Gold:
My Priorities for our Streets
As we continue to experience rapid growth across this valley, our leaders must meet the urgency of this moment. We need our elected officials to work together and act decisively in the public’s best interest.
I’m proud of my record making streets better for everyone. During my time serving on the Eagle City Council and as an ACHD Commissioner, I have fought hard to make streets safer and more accessible for everyone. I successfully advocated for improved bike and pedestrian infrastructure, multi-modal transportation options, safe routes to school, increased public transit access, and stronger agency collaboration to stretch every public dollar as far as possible.

What is ACHD?
ACHD is short for Ada County Highway District and was established in the 1970s. It’s responsible for all planning, construction, maintenance, and improvements to Ada County's local roads and bridges (with an annual budget of over $150 million). ACHD is completely unique as the only county-wide highway district of its kind in the entire United States.
How are ACHD Commissioners elected?
I’m running in District 3, and only people who live in District 3 can vote for District 3 ACHD Commissioner (although we are all impacted by the votes of every ACHD Commissioner!) ACHD Commissioners are elected for a 4-year term. In 2026, Districts 3 and 4 are up for election.
Idaho Born-and-Raised, Experienced Public Servant
I’m an eighth generation Idahoan, born and raised in Twin Falls. I graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Anthropology from Texas State University and have a professional background working in the private sector in logistics, project management and administration. In 2017 I was elected to the Eagle City Council and served as Commissioner and Treasurer on the Eagle Urban Renewal Agency. I was elected Commissioner for District 3 of the Ada County Highway District in 2022, and have served as Commission President since 2025. I now live in Boise with my husband and two school-age sons.
Why I’m Running For Re-Election
Ada County’s rapid growth is at a critical inflection point: we need leaders who can meet this moment boldly, creatively, and urgently. Our elected officials need to work together and act decisively in the public’s best interest. We have no time to lose.
I’m a community leader with a proven track record of service, in-depth land use knowledge, and smart collaboration on big issues. I’m proud of my record of making streets better for everyone. As we continue to experience rapid growth across this valley, our leaders must meet the urgency of this moment. We need our elected officials to work together and act decisively in the public’s best interest.
I’m proud of my record making streets better for everyone. I’m ready to defend our quality of life and make the kinds of investments in complete streets, cleaner air, and coordinated, responsible growth that will be felt for generations to come.
